Meet Our Team

 

Fran Wickham-Jacobs, Manager, B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from Howard University, Washington D.C., has over 30 years of experience in the field of culture. A former Company Member of the Barbados Dance Theatre Company. After completing her studies and spending some time in the United States, Fran returned to Barbados in 1987 to set-up and manage DHL (Barbados) Ltd. However, after a few years she was once again drawn to her original calling, the cultural arts, and assumed the post of Cultural Affairs Specialist with the United States Information Service (USIS), before joining the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) as Business Development Officer – Performing Arts, Festivals Committee member and Manager of the Queen’s Park Complex.

Ronald Grant, Technical Services Officer, has been involved in the Technical and Entertainment fields for over twenty years. His background is in Concert Sound and Recording Studio Engineering. He was trained in "Lighting Technology and Design" in the United Kingdom, "Digital Recording Technology" in the USA, and he holds a diploma in "Conference Management" from the Barbados Community College. He is also a voting member of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc. (USITT) 
Ronald is responsible for equipment selection, purchase, installation, operation and maintenance along with supervising all technical services and crews for the Frank Collymore Hall and the other venues. He has been at the Hall since 1989.

Sydney Robertson, Administrative Officer earned his degree in International Business from Howard University in Washington, D.C. His background not only includes banking but also marketing and promotion in the entertainment industry and he brings a diverse skill set to the Hall.
